Currently, Mia can be seen as Adele, the American tourist in Agra, India, in the multiple-Oscar winning movie "Slumdog Millionaire."

Mia, the daughter of a foreign service officer, grew up in Brazil, Ghana, India, and Maryland. After college at Indiana University, Mia moved to Chicago and then Los Angeles to pursue acting.

Besides acting, Mia ia a graphic designer, artist and mother of two.

She has jumped out of a plane, bungy jumped, run the LA Marathon, biked the California and Hawaii AIDs rides.

She has lived in India since 2006 and will be headed back to Los Angeles in June 2009.
