Mia, the daughter of a foreign service officer, grew up in Brazil, Ghana, India, and Maryland.

Besides acting, Mia ia a graphic designer, artist and mother of two.

She has jumped out of a plane, bungy jumped, run the LA Marathon, biked the California and Hawaii AIDs rides.

She currently lives in India.
